    Initially, MI's Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) efforts in Bangalore's urban slums primarily centered around delivering rehabilitation services. However, the focus quickly transitioned to establishing Self-Help Groups (SHGs), facilitating income-generating activities tailored to the local community, and ensuring children's access to education. Presently, the primary emphasis lies in raising awareness throughout the community and engaging key stakeholders to collectively advocate for the full inclusion of people with disabilities in all aspects of social life.

Impact

Mobility India has trained over 300 students from 25 countries as prosthetics & orthotics technologists and rehab therapy assistants, and its community programs cover 23 urban slums in Bangalore and over 350 villages in rural areas.
