MSSS creat Read morees opportunities and strives towards a more equitable society. Registered in 1987, the MSSS started work in Bangalore, for underprivileged children especially waste picking children to help them integrate within the mainstream of society. Since then the organization has grown to embrace multiple aspects of urban & rural poverty and the environment. MSSS works for most deprived sections of the society like that of waste pickers and slum dwellers in an urban context, below poverty line deprived communities in the rural areas. MSSS is a people-centred approach with practical and hands-on in real-time that touches people’s lives and aims at provision for basic needs service, poverty alleviation and environmental protection.  We strive to deliver quality service in local communities with tangible asset benefits. We partners and collaborate with Government organizations, Non-governmental organizations, Private companies and Global networks to link and learn continuously for growth and outreach. Using this as a platform, our mission would be to engage, to empower, to inspire, to deliver quality work and become a change-maker in propagating enduring solutions in areas of water, sanitation, environmental protection, poverty alleviation and dissemination of information.

Programs

  • Vocational training

    Enhancing livelihood opportunities for both boys and girls in underserved communities by offering training in professional skills, life skills, and economic management to unemployed individuals. Content delivery is designed to be interactive and demonstrative, ensuring quick and easy comprehension of training materials.

  • Model village

    WASH Program: Implementation of household-level environmentally friendly models. Trained resource persons and motivated communities collaborate to install eco-friendly models such as biogas units, rainwater harvesting structures, and solar lights. Additionally, RO plants are installed to provide clean drinking water.

Milestones & Track Record

MSSS has implemented an Income Generation Program for Adolescent Girls in Bevoor, Yelburga taluk, Koppal district, imparting garment-making skills to enhance their livelihood capabilities.
