It is formally registered as a charitable trust, and operates as a Cultural Service Organisation with a profound commitment to bestow the gift of music, often referred to as "Sangeetha Kamadhenu," upon the vibrant city of Bangalore. Within this city, one discovers a harmonious coexistence of thriving commercial enterprises and peaceful residential enclaves, a testament to Bangalore's enduring old-world charm. Over the course of three decades, it has consistently mesmerized Bangalore's ever-expanding audience with the pinnacle of Indian Classical Carnatic Music. It has rightfully earned its place as one of Bangalore's leading Carnatic music institutions, boasting an impressive roster of over 800 life members and experiencing rapid expansion. Artists, specialists, and the media alike consistently praise the remarkable concert quality consistently delivered by Nadasurabhi.

  • Monthly Concert and Youth Festival

    Each month, the enchanting strains of classical music fill the Indian Heritage Academy Hall in Koramangala, Bangalore, as a monthly concert unfolds on the third Sunday at 4.15 PM. This cherished event has become a regular delight for music enthusiasts. Moreover, every February, a captivating three-day Youth Festival emerges, dedicated to showcasing the remarkable talents of promising young artists in the realm of classical music. This annual celebration serves as a platform for these budding musicians to display their burgeoning skills and captivate audiences with their artistry and passion.

  • Annual Festival of Music

    Annually, in the month of November, an illustrious weeklong Music Festival unfolds, featuring prominent figures in the Carnatic music domain. The lineup reads like a veritable who's who of this genre, including stalwarts like Vidwans R.K.Srikantan, Prof. T.N.Krishnan, M.S.Gopalakrishnan, N.Ramani, Madurai T.N.Seshagopalan, T.V.Sankaranarayanan, Trichur Ramachandran, Sanjay Subrahmanyan, T.M.Krishna, Unnikrishnan, Vijay Siva, Vidushis Sudha Raghunathan, the Sikkil Sisters, and Soumya, among others. This annual extravaganza presents an opportunity for music enthusiasts to immerse themselves in the melodic brilliance of these accomplished artists.

  • Thyagaraja and Purandaradasa Aradhana Programme

    The Thyagaraja and Purandaradasa Aradhana function, an annual event taking place in February, serves as a platform for musicians of all ages, from seasoned veterans to budding music students, to honour the revered saint composers. This gathering features a collective performance of the Pancharatna Kritis, symbolizing a harmonious homage to the musical legacies left behind by these great saints. It stands as a unifying celebration where diverse generations come together to pay their respects and showcase their devotion to the timeless compositions of Thyagaraja and Purandaradasa.

  • Karnataka Vaibhava Programme

    Since 2012, a novel festival known as "Karnataka Vaibhava" has emerged, dedicated to spotlighting the accomplishments of artists and composers from Karnataka. This annual celebration typically spans three days and is scheduled for August each year. It serves as a vibrant platform to showcase and commemorate the rich contributions of Karnataka's artistic and musical luminaries, offering a cultural extravaganza that resonates with the heritage and creative legacy of the region.

  • Sangeetha Surabhi Award

    Since 2007, the Sangeetha Surabhi Award has been bestowed upon a distinguished senior Carnatic musician during a special ceremony conducted in conjunction with the Annual Music Festival held every November.
