Ground water re-charges
To recharge groundwater and provide vital irrigation to farms during dry spells, Outreach has implemented the farm pond technique. The project locations have seen the excavation of 3800 farm ponds. Youth from the community have received para-hydrogeology training from Outreach, enabling them to recognise aquifers and advocate for water-collecting structures in recharging areas.

Natural Resource Management
Implementing the JFPM programme, watershed projects funded by the government and donors, and carrying out the actions to stop soil erosion, preserve moisture, and enhance vegetation on 55,000 hectares across 10 project areas.
