Programs
-
Uhuru
The Uhuru programme is the bedrock of our Direct Care work. Held at our lush Nelamangala Campus, it consists of learning and growing through a semi-residential programme from Monday to Thursday, along with a day boarding format.
Here, learning is embodied for the children and their families through many experiences provided by a range of facilitators, ABT and API practitioners, external faculty, visiting artists, peers, interns and volunteers.
Along with meeting the learning outcomes, our semi-residential facility works as a service delivery model that looks at the mental health and well-being of the not just the children but that of their families and the caregivers, the communities in the neighbouring village and schools.

Sangam
As adolescents and adults with disabilities may experience difficulties in connecting and interacting with their peers due to special communication needs.
Keeping in the mind the social needs of adolescents and adults, Sangam offers a day of ‘meet and greet’ with a view to enable adolescents and adults with disabilities or special needs to meet peers in a social setting for a day of making new friends, exploring social interactions and participating in art, play and other activities.
It is expected that through these meetings and collaborations, adolescents and adults will be able to make something greater – a greater strength and resilience to cope through making social communication easier and encouraging the making of peer-relationships
Milestones & Track Record
Snehadhara Foundation has trained over 3,000 professionals from 550 organizations across 8 countries, and established itself as the foremost institution in India to offer the Arts Practices for Inclusion Course.
