Manav Vikas Seva Sangh (MVSS) is a social development organization founded in 1969 and registered in 1989 under the M.P. Firms and Societies Act 1973. Read more It is the official development arm of the Catholic Diocese of Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, India.
Action
MVSS implements development projects in areas like sustainable livelihood, good governance, sustainable agriculture, education promotion, child rights, natural resource management and women's empowerment in villages and slums across several districts of Madhya Pradesh.
Cause Area
Impact
MVSS currently implements 42 projects that are bringing positive changes to the lives of over 25,000 households in 386 villages and more than 50 slums. They also work with over 2,000 prisoners, 2,772 school teachers and over 600 doctors.
Vision & Mission
MVSS works to establish a society based on truth, cooperation, justice, equality, love and brotherhood. They aim to provide a voice to the voiceless, empower the powerless, and provide resources to the deprived using a rights-based approach.
Milestones & Track Record
Over the past 31 years, MVSS has implemented 92 development projects with assistance from national and international development support organizations. They have expanded their work to cover 386 villages across 5 districts of Madhya Pradesh.
