    From 2013 PAHAL & Volvo Employee Aid Association jointly initiated a community medical centre at Khajrana slum in Indore. The aim of “Community Medical Centre” is to provide free access of health services to poor slum dwellers of Khajrana and surrounding areas. Since January 2013 our community medical centre expands health care facilities to “Out Patient Department”, Inner Patient Department, general health checkups, vaccinations, Lab. Investigations, distribution of medicines, counseling of girls/women on safe motherhood & nutrition and slum awareness meetings on health issues arises in the slums. In these two years we not only provide free health services to poor people but also develop reputation and faith among the opinion leaders, people and administration

  • Securing Nutrition And Enhancing Resilience

    The GIZ Securing Nutrition, Enhancing Resilience (SENU) project in India implements a nutrition-sensitive integrated approach linking nutrition education with a multi-sectoral Community Nutrition Garden initiative and nutrition sensitive micro-planning at community level. The objective is to improve the nutritional situation of 424,000 women at reproductive age and 86,000 young children (6-23 months).
