Smart microgrid provides single/three phase electricity at only 30 percent of the cost of a traditional grid extension. Long term sustainability of the Microgrid is ensured by operating through active community participation and a transfer of ownership model. Smart energy monitoring offers real time monitoring of electricity consumption and appliance usage. Appliance based monitoring helps the user in calculating and budgeting electricity expenses. These smart solutions have benefited more than 2,00,000 individuals and 30 villages and smart electrification of 30 more villages is being planned further.
