Project implementation takes place in the areas of agriculture extension, organic farming, health & nutrition, climate change, agri-business, forestry and social impact assessment. Agriculture extension services, one of the primary services areas of specialization, are undertaken under a PPP (Public Private Partnership) model. Other areas of specialization are natural resource management, traditional knowledge, medicinal plants, financial inclusion & literacy, policy advocacy, project management, quality control, agri-business & livelihood support, environment impact assessment and panchayati raj. In five decades of operation, it has completed more than 5,500 assignments for governmental, non-governmental and international organizations.
