  • Unlocking Impact in Justice

The goal of this research is to comprehend the current situation as well as the methods used by the main changemakers to alter social systems and frames.
In 2021, we conducted two surveys: one to record trends and lessons learned from organizations advancing equal access to justice, and the other to learn how young changemakers are bringing about positive, transformative reforms in the judicial system. We conducted eight in-depth interviews reflecting various priority areas in the law and justice arena across more than 11 states in India and received answers from 32 such organizations and 58 young leaders.
We are now constructing a resource to support the objectives of the changemakers' organizations based on the insights from this study.

  • Young Changemakers in Justice

The goal of Ashoka's Law For All Initiative is to help young changemakers realize their potential to develop justice solutions for themselves, their communities, and society. We think that in order to accomplish that, we need to create a movement that promotes the notion that young changemakers can discover answers for issues of justice, establish a network of such young changemakers, and create an environment that allows them to reach their full potential.

  • Venture and Fellowship

Ashoka has developed and supported the greatest global network of successful social entrepreneurs for more than 35 years. Following a thorough screening procedure, they are welcomed into a lifelong fellowship where every member is dedicated to promoting innovative social good practices. We work together with Ashoka Fellows to co-create Ashoka's vision of a future where everyone is a changemaker and we urge them to take responsibility for the network.

A transformational and illuminating experience, selecting is. Candidates describe their innovations and how they could alter industry-wide systems. Instead of serving as a simple means to a goal, the selection process sparks lively debate, hones concepts, and creates space for a journey of personal growth.
