Our interventions are designed to equip citizens with a better understanding of the society they live in and the challenges that it confronts. The aim Read more is to help young people broaden their perspective, think critically about their socio-political construct, tap their leadership potential and acquire skills to create long lasting impact. We currently run programs in different cities in India and Nepal, in addition to undertaking projects in civic engagement and public policy.

  • YLAC Digital Champions Program

    YLAC has launched the Digital Champions Program in response to the growing importance of online safety education, particularly for youth in today's tech-driven era. This initiative aims to empower high school students nationwide with essential digital citizenship skills, equipping them to navigate the digital landscape safely and responsibly. By providing comprehensive knowledge on digital safety and well-being, along with practical tools to address potential online threats, the program seeks to cultivate a generation of informed and conscientious digital consumers. Through the Digital Champions Program, YLAC envisions fostering healthier and more meaningful relationships between students and technology, ultimately promoting digital literacy and online safety awareness.

  • Equality Clubs

    YLAC has been dedicated to establishing Equality Clubs in schools nationwide, aiming to foster awareness among students regarding various forms of societal inequalities. The initiative seeks to promote empathy, consciousness of privilege, and inspire proactive engagement among students. Through an experiential learning approach, the clubs facilitate exploration of complex societal issues, challenge stereotypes, and cultivate leadership skills necessary for reshaping societal norms. Equipped with a meticulously crafted toolkit comprising activities and resources, these clubs aspire to serve as catalysts for societal change in India, fostering dynamic debates and discussions aimed at addressing and dismantling existing inequalities.
