"Computers in Schools" represents a corporate social responsibility (CSR) endeavor undertaken by RenewIT aimed at narrowing the digital gap in India by establishing computer labs in underprivileged schools, thereby ensuring equal access to educational resources for all students. Serving as a mediator between corporate entities and NGOs, RenewIT acquires and refurbishes end-of-life cycle computers from corporations. Subsequently, these refurbished computers are distributed to NGOs, which identify schools lacking adequate technological infrastructure. This initiative serves as a bridge between corporate donors and educational institutions, facilitating the provision of essential resources to empower students and enhance their learning opportunities.
