  • Women and adolescent girls

The empowerment of young women is crucial for shaping a healthy and prosperous world. Unfortunately, adolescent girls from marginalized backgrounds, with limited education, or living in rural areas face higher risks of early pregnancy, endangering their lives and the lives of their newborns.
Equipping young women with knowledge and tools to prevent unwanted pregnancies increases their chances of completing their education. Access to contraceptives and comprehensive sexual health information also helps them avoid sexually transmitted infections. The organisation works with its partners to advocate for expanded access to high-quality care throughout the reproductive journey, including before, during, and after childbirth. It also advocates for regular cervical cancer screenings and screenings for sexually transmitted infections.

  • Health Systems & Universal Health Coverage

The key challenges in global health, such as maternal mortality, non-communicable diseases, and pandemics, stem from a common obstacle: under-resourced and fragmented health systems that hinder access to quality and affordable healthcare for the poorest and most marginalized communities. These gaps not only threaten lives but also exacerbate inequality, impede economic growth, and undermine social stability in both rich and poor countries. The organisation assists its clients in aligning and mobilizing diverse partners around a shared vision of health for all. It transforms technical concepts into inspiring narratives and demonstrates why investing in health systems is both morally right and strategically wise. It builds global coalitions and secures influential advocates to bring attention to health injustices, and uses opportunities to emphasize the importance of strong health systems.

  • Non-communicable diseases

The impact of NCDs is not limited to the individuals affected but also has far-reaching consequences for their families and communities. The high costs of treatment and care can push families into poverty and hinder economic progress. Additionally, the strain on healthcare systems can limit resources for addressing other health issues and pose challenges in providing adequate and timely care for those affected by NCDs.
It supports the clients in advocating for stronger health systems that prioritize access to preventive care and affordable medicines. Through partnerships and collaborations, it has been actively engaged in initiatives to address key risk factors for NCDs and promote public awareness.
