The organization creates interesting stories that teach children important skills and lessons. The stories are distributed through print and digital m Read moreedia. Going to School also works with the government and trains teachers to use its stories efficiently. The content of the stories has been aired on channels like Pogo and National Geographic and some of the stories have been included in the NCERT curriculum. Going to School writes design-driven stories to teach poor children entrepreneurial skills like decision making, problem-solving and teamwork. 3,00,000 children have been taught these skills in Jharkhand and Bihar. It runs Scrappy News, a news service completely run by children with children as their target audience. The news service addresses issues like pollution, city wildlife and design of smart cities. It has also written stories about girl characters like Luna and Maya who teach important skills to girls. The stories encourage girls to be more creative and adventurous. To provide girls with role models with whom they can relate to, the organisation has a series of 15 children's stories by the name 'Girl Stars'. Some stories of this series have been included in the NCERT curriculum and have also been aired on Doordarshan.
