The aim is to overcome the barrier to learning posed by limited internet access through offline content and learning material hosted and distributed through low-bandwidth channels. Its product offerings include Kolibri and KA Lite. Kolibri is an offline application that is compatible with most devices, functions without the internet and allows self paced learning. The learning material is made available to one device with an available internet connection which can be further distributed through offline local networks. KA Lite functions in collaboration with Khan Academy to provide an interactive learning experience with Khan Academy learning videos, exercises and student tracking facility available offline through a local server. It has received funding of USD 5 million from Google.org to support its work in India. Apart from India, it has active operations in the USA.
