    Ahvaan Trust's Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) Mission addresses the concerning issue of poor learning outcomes among school-going children in India. Despite education reforms and the NEP 2020, a significant portion of students lack foundational skills in reading and mathematics. Ahvaan has been actively developing a unique curriculum since 2014, focusing on the learner's holistic development, conceptual understanding, and application. This learner-centric approach ignites curiosity, nurtures communication skills, and fosters social interaction, all of which contribute to personal, social, and emotional growth. The curriculum is constructivist, emphasizing active participation, social interactions, active play, and experiential learning. It creates an environment that supports children's learning journey through diverse activities, assessments, and secure classrooms.

  • Continuous Professional Development(CPD) Programme

    Ahvaan Trust is dedicated to advancing Continuous Professional Development (CPD) for educators, recognizing teachers as vital to effective education.     Ahvaan Trust swiftly responded to the prolonged school closures with its "Lockdown Ki Pathshala," leveraging educators to develop critical learning videos and materials for children's foundational education on Facebook. It supported teachers through WhatsApp Teacher Support Groups and curated resources like videos, audio notes, and worksheets. Ahvaan envisions integrating technology for teaching and learning by digitizing a comprehensive 5-year foundational curriculum, fostering online communities, and enhancing teachers' abilities for effective online or blended instruction. Collaborating with Vande Tripura, it extended learning to parents and children through television programs, bridging gaps where traditional teaching methods fall short and enabling continuous learning during school closures.
