  • Cleft Surgeries Though Out India Through Outreach Centres And And Missions

    Missions are the primary mode of intervention and though they are short term, they are effective as large numbers of patients are given medical assessments and receive surgeries in a particular mission. A location is chosen and volunteers from India and abroad join hands to conduct medical evaluation and surgeries, followed by post-operative check-up. Till date, Mission Smile has conducted over 120+ medical missions in India. Mission Smile has 15+ centers runing in partnership with local hospitals, credentialed surgeons and experts, with approved equipment and infrastructure.

    Mission Smile has created a Unique Public Private Partnerships in collaboration with the Government of Assam and National Health Mission towards creating a ‘Cleft Free’ Assam. Our Guwahati Comprehensive Cleft Care Centre is a state-of-the-art facility which was inaugurated in February 2011 by then Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam, Shri. Tarun Gogoi, in the presence of the Hon’ble Ex- Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Hemanta Biswa Sarma and Shri Ranjit Barthakur (Chairman Mission Smile).
