Action
The Centre provides training to both educated and uneducated visually impaired women, enabling them to gain suitable employment, pursue higher education, and regain their careers after a gap due to late onset of blindness.
Impact
The Centre has successfully rehabilitated hundreds of blind women in Maharashtra through its training programs and festival projects, which provide income-generating opportunities.
Vision & Mission
The vision is to change the status of blind women in India by providing rehabilitation, training, higher education, guidance, and dignity to thousands of visually impaired girls and women. The mission is to sustain the lives of the most marginalized women, creating a ripple effect of awareness in communities.
Milestones & Track Record
The Centre has set up a HINCOL Science Laboratory, one of the fully equipped science labs in the country designed for visually impaired beneficiaries.
