The TFAT program is dedicated to helping children realize their full potential throughout their school years by enhancing learning outcomes and educational quality in primary classes. Using a Mother Tongue-based Multilingual Education approach, the initiative focuses on three key areas: building resilience, ensuring quality education, and promoting participation of children and youth in decision-making and governance. Patang addresses these goals through several approaches:

Quality Education: This includes setting up and running learning centers within government schools, organizing Language Melas, village book fairs, and children's festivals.

Participation: Patang engages village youth, training them to design and lead projects that tackle local issues.

Resilience: The Odia Lifeskills curriculum "Udia Tara" is implemented with adolescents.

Ukia, meaning "a new ray of hope" for indigenous communities in Western Odisha, was launched in 2016 as a sustainable livelihood initiative. This program centers around the tribal communities, empowering them to lead and develop diverse livelihood opportunities rooted in their traditional practices. These opportunities are thoughtfully crafted to fit the local context and the unique realities of the tribal population. Ukia's primary focus areas include the Forest Rights Act, Community Rights, Ecological Farming, MGNREGA (Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act), creating connections with government schemes, resolving land title issues, and strengthening local governance.

The Ukia initiative benefits a wide range of individuals and families in Jujumora, Sambalpur, including displaced households affected by the Rengali and Hirakud dam projects and migrant communities from Jharkhand.
