PadBank addresses menstrual hygiene in India through a vast network of women volunteers. It distributes free sanitary pads to underprivileged women and girls, conducts awareness workshops, and breaks menstrual taboos. The project promotes safe practices and sustainable products. Focused on empowerment and community outreach, PadBank partners with various organizations, significantly impacting menstrual health management across diverse regions, all through dedicated volunteer efforts.
Pinkishe spreads Menstrual Health & Hygiene education and distributes free reusable sanitary pads to marginalised girls and women in urban slums and rural areas.
Our Menstrual Hygiene education program is a behavioural development program that incorporates concepts of Menstrual Hygiene Management, alters perceptions and practices towards demand, usage, and disposal of pads, and establishes an eco-system that strengthens the power of Women and Girls.
We also manufacture Reusable Cloth Sanitary Pads. The pads and other menstrual products are distributed to needy girls in rural areas and slums. In the process, awareness sessions are conducted by qualified doctors and volunteers to enhance their knowledge about the importance of menstrual hygiene, usage of sanitary absorbents, correct method of use and disposal, etc.
