    Room to Read India focuses on ensuring every girl has access to education opportunities and a supportive environment to empower themselves and make significant life decisions. The Girls Education Program (GEP) offers well-structured programs with mentorship from local women called Social Mobilizers for up to seven years, providing essential life skills training and academic support. The program aims to enable girls to choose their own path confidently and independently. Strategies to achieve this include providing online and offline life skills training, in-person and remote mentoring support, engaging with families, schools, and communities, and offering need-based material support to overcome barriers.

    Room to Read India focuses on providing quality education with scientific rigor and measurable outcomes. Their literacy program enables primary school children to become independent readers and lifelong learners.
