Saksham Resource Centre has been dedicated to educating, rehabilitating, and empowering children with visual impairment, multiple disabilities, and deafblindness since 2006. Children aged 0 to 17 are admitted, with older children receiving vocational skill training and employment opportunities. Upon admission, parents undergo a detailed interview about their child's medical history and interventions. Children are then assessed and placed in appropriate groups with individualized plans developed in consultation with parents, reviewed and adjusted as needed. The centre offers various programs including early intervention, integrated education, computer training, vocational training, and specialized training for deafblind children. Additionally, it provides adult rehabilitation, counseling, and community awareness initiatives to support holistic development and inclusion.

Saksham Digital Library plays a vital role in ensuring access to books and magazines for individuals with visual impairment, enhancing their educational and lifelong learning prospects. By converting print materials into accessible formats like EPUB, DAISY, and Audio, it enables users to navigate through texts at various levels of granularity. Collaborating with schools, publishers, and the visually impaired community, Saksham facilitates the production and distribution of these accessible materials, which are then shared through platforms like Sugamya Pustakalaya. Through awareness campaigns, training sessions, and collaborative projects, Saksham encourages involvement and support from diverse stakeholders, promoting inclusivity and accessibility in literary resources.
