We work in the field of Drug Addiction / Alcoholism as this is becoming a major issue in today's society and it is not easy to overcome it without proper treatment and guidance.

Programs

  • Communities Against Substance Abuse Program

    - Deliver a focused intervention in a vulnerable area to underserved populations
    - Provide life skills training, skill development, and livelihood support in the final phases of the deaddiction treatment and rehabilitation
    - Provide apprenticeship to be employed part-time as peer- support workers to staff the community education, awareness, and outreach activities of the Samadhan Foundation
    - Conduct preventive education and community awareness drives with key institutions like schools for vulnerable youth between 10 to 18 years of age. This will include substance use awareness
    - Expand group counselling, and workshops for families of substance users/addicts to encourage their participation and support in deaddiction and rehabilitation treatment.
    - Conduct community awareness events like street plays, free screening, workshops, etc. to bring greater community awareness of substance use and abuse.

  • Communities Against Substance Abuse Awareness Program

    To create awareness among people especially younger generation about strengths-based deaddiction, rehabilitation, and post recovery support for substance users and supporting vulnerable communities and harmful effects regarding the same and how to counter the same so as to enable caution from substance abuse and prevention from the same.
