Anandam- A Home For The Homeless
Anandam provides shelter to those unfortunate ones who do not have a home or have been abandoned by their families or are unknown. It was established on 5th of January 2007 at Vijay Mandir, Alwar. Sapna Shikshalaya- A School For Underprivileged Girl Children
SAPNA established a pre-primary school in 2015, which later obtained middle school status in 2019. The school targets impoverished girls in rural areas and aims to provide quality and relevant education. A nominal fee of Rs.17 per day (Rs. 500 per month) is charged to promote ownership. The programme empowers marginalized girls, nurturing their overall development in areas such as hygiene, discipline, nutrition, and personality. Objectives include raising awareness about girls' education, community-led ownership of the school, providing access to quality education, supporting girls who can't afford schooling, reducing dropouts, and enhancing self-awareness and decision-making skills. Currently, 271 girls are enrolled, taught by 16 teachers supervised by a principal and an Educational Motivator. The well-designed curriculum emphasizes oral and written skills, utilizing teaching aids like the 'Smart Class.' The student-teacher ratio is 15:1, ensuring individual attention and care.

Anandmayee- A home for the homeless women
In 2019, in view of increasing numbers of homeless women, a separate home, named Anandmayee was carved out for homeless women at Vijay Mandir. The home provides a safe haven to women who are victims of violence, trafficking and sexual abuse, and other forms of severe trauma. Our counselling and related services heal and restore them in a safe and beautiful environment where they have access to health and recreational facilities and are encouraged to make loving and meaningful connections with each other.

Mahatma Gandhi Netralaya
To address the problem of blindness and bridge the gap of lack of services in rural areas of Alwar district, NGO Sapna initiated an eye care program in 2007. Its mandate was to take eye care to the doorsteps of the people of Alwar by organizing eye camps in remote rural areas. The patients afflicted with cataract were taken to Delhi for surgeries at the Venu Eye Hospital. Since then, more than 440 eye camps have been organized in remote villages of Alwar district. Till date, 30000 vision correction glasses have been provided, and more than 13,500 cataract surgeries have been performed.
Looking to the need and demand of eye care services in Alwar District, NGO Sapna built an eye hospital named “Mahatma Gandhi Netralaya” at village Kaduki, in the outskirts of Alwar city. This eye hospital is exclusively for the poor and underprivileged seeking secondary eye care services including cataract surgeries. The Netralaya became functional on 25th of August 2017 and first cataract surgery was performed on 20th February, 2018.Mahatma Gandhi Netralaya functions on all days except Sundays. Residents of nearby villages come for checkups, treatment of minor problems and screening for cataract operation. The hospital has three full time Optometrist, two part-time doctors and an anesthetist.
Outreach camps are held twice a week in remote areas of Alwar district & neighboring districts. Approximately 250 people are screened, several are given free medicines and glasses, while a few identified for sight-restoring cataract surgeries at the Netralaya.
In this way we are able to reach out to many poor patients who cannot come to Netralaya for checkups and cataract screening. Senior citizens are most vulnerable and have difficulty in moving out. The Camps suit their needs the most.
