Impact
We work with 8 Government Partner Schools impacting 45 teachers and 1500+ Children in Delhi and Uttarakhand Our State Partnerships in Delhi, Uttarakhand, and Punjab impact close to 160,000+ teachers and 4,000,000+ Here are some key impact data points from the last academic year from our partner schools [2023-24]: -59% of children in Delhi's partner schools' Grade 5 are now reading at their grade level -85% of children in Uttarakhand's partner school's Grade 5 are now reading at their grade level In 2022-23, none of the children were meeting their grade level reading benchmarks which warranted a strategic teacher coaching approach toward strengthening the Hindi language learning process. Through our Delhi In-Service Educator Development program we launched a module to equip almost 45000 teachers across the state with grade and subject-agnostic actionable practices to foster creativity, communication, critical thinking, and collaboration (21st Century Skills) in children: -91.3% of teachers found the training relevant and easy to understand -9 in 10 teachers shared they would recommend the training to a colleague
Vision and Mission
SEF's vision is to provide education that prepares children to navigate through a dynamic and connected 21st century world, with a mission to empower 1 million teachers by 2028, transforming classrooms across India and ensuring every student receives a high-quality education.
