Delhi Slums & Resettlement Colonies Programme
The project focuses on empowering vulnerable communities in Delhi's slums and resettlement colonies, covering activities from April 2019 to March 2020. Emphasizing community mobilization and forming community-based organisations (CBOs), the team linked them with service providers through advocacy efforts. Using platforms like Children Development Centers and Advocacy Programmes, it aided over 4774 households indirectly and directly. Advocacy and RTI initiatives resulted in 1006 households benefiting from various Government schemes, obtaining essential identity cards for 539 individuals. Collaborating with the Nazdeek Organisation, it ran SMS campaigns addressing community issues, with 227 women participating, resulting in four women lodging complaints online. Additionally, the project enrolled 228 children in Usmanpur CDC, addressed dropouts by assisting 27 children in school admissions, and assessed learning outcomes for different age groups, providing tailored education accordingly.

EPS Majuli Project
The Majuli Ebion Public School (EPS), a unit established in 2006 by Mr. Amuliya Pegu, later managed by the Society for Promotion of Tribal Welfare and Development (SPTWD), caters to 254 students, mostly from rural backgrounds. Operating in rudimentary facilities without proper amenities like toilets, library, labs, or sufficient classrooms, it serves an area where most families rely on traditional occupations. SPTWD took over management in 2014, working on school development and partnerships with NGOs like Pratham and Farm to Food for teacher training and agricultural support. Despite minimal resources and enrollment challenges, the school manages operational costs by paying low teacher salaries. However, the focus is on long-term growth, aiming for improved infrastructure and quality education aligned with community expectations, foreseeing a developmental journey spanning 5-10 years.
