Through democratic means, it strives for better entitlements, rights, and governance in rural areas. Bundelkhand Sewa Sansthan collaborates closely with impoverished and marginalized families, enhancing their knowledge, skills, and capacities in various areas including rights, entitlements, health, education, agriculture, land development, water harvesting, and fruit tree plantation. Additionally, it promotes agriculture-based livelihood options to uplift communities, receiving support from organizations such as UNICEF, PACS, Tata Trusts, JAICA, DEF, PSI, MNREGA, and various government programs.

Programs

Swavlamban Program (BIWAL)
In its Kharif and Rabi crop program, BSS encourages farmers to adopt Natural Farming Practices for cost-effective and chemical-free farming, providing seeds and training. BSS has established NMPM units and constructed water conservation structures, reaching out to lead and associate farmers to promote Zero Budget Natural Farming.
Milestones & Track Record
BSS has achieved several milestones, including establishing solar charging stations in 10 remote villages, facilitating identification of 1,474 HIV-infected persons, helping 553 households retrieve rights over 1,357 acres of land, forming 204 school management committees, and extending improved cropping practices to 1,752 households.
