Bundelkhand Sewa Sansthan, a Civil Society organization, operates in Lalitpur district, Uttar Pradesh, within the Bundelkhand region. Since May 7th, 2 Read more003, the organization has been dedicated to empowering women, poor farmers, and marginalized families in one of India's most impoverished districts. Through democratic means, it strives for better entitlements, rights, and governance in rural areas. Bundelkhand Sewa Sansthan collaborates closely with impoverished and marginalized families, enhancing their knowledge, skills, and capacities in various areas including rights, entitlements, health, education, agriculture, land development, water harvesting, and fruit tree plantation. Additionally, it promotes agriculture-based livelihood options to uplift communities, receiving support from organizations such as UNICEF, PACS, Tata Trusts, JAICA, DEF, PSI, MNREGA, and various government programs.

BSS's mission is to strengthen the social, educational, and economic capacities of poor, tribal, and marginalized communities and farmers.

BSS has achieved several milestones, including establishing solar charging stations in 10 remote villages, facilitating identification of 1,474 HIV-infected persons, helping 553 households retrieve rights over 1,357 acres of land, forming 204 school management committees, and extending improved cropping practices to 1,752 households.
