    The foundation ensures the enhanced enrollment of out-of-school children and organizes district-level workshops focused on increasing child enrollment. They support the strategic planning of School Chalo Abhiyaan, emphasizing the need for both offline and online campaign execution. Additionally, the foundation works to ensure the retention of enrolled children.

    Facilitation review meetings are conducted by the foundation with the Education department and network partners/SMCs to enhance the effectiveness of School Development Plans. This is done to properly implement Right to Education (RTE) provisions and meet school requirements. Mechanisms for grievance redressal are also established. This involves addressing school-related complaints through Tehsil Divas and actively tracking the progress of issues raised during this process.

This objective is pursued through the establishment of a Migration Resource Centre referred to as 'Apna Sewa Kendra'.

    In partnership with the Labor Department, twelve BOCW (Building and Other Construction Workers) registration camps have been orchestrated, aimed at providing migrants with convenient access to services and benefits.A monthly legal clinic and counseling day was systematically arranged at the Ghaziabad office of ApnaSewa Financial literacy,health awareness, sanitation awareness and mobilization meetings were organized as well.

    The project aims to sensitize and train approximately 50 young individuals (aged 14-25) from the target population to effectively address issues related to violence against women (VAW). Additionally, the initiative seeks to raise awareness and mobilize community members to voice their concerns and establish community structures to combat VAW. Furthermore, the project aims to facilitate coordination and communication with key officials, structures, and Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) to maintain a continuous dialogue with the community about VAW. This coordination is designed to ensure efficient responsiveness to community demands by providing the necessary services.

    The project aims to achieve several key objectives. It seeks to enhance the pedagogical skills of 300 teachers by offering comprehensive training and continuous support. This effort is projected to benefit around 10,000 students, ensuring that learning outcomes are successfully met. Additionally, the project aims to raise awareness and strengthen the School Management Committees (SMCs), enabling them to fully grasp their roles and responsibilities. Technical and handholding assistance will be provided to SMCs as they develop School Development Plans (SDPs) for the selected schools. Moreover, the project aims to sensitize and engage communities, fostering an environment that promotes quality education within schools while simultaneously creating a conducive atmosphere for children's education.

  • Functional Literacy For Dignity and Entitlement

It focuses on 13 revenue villages spanning across 3 panchayats within the Mahishi block of Saharsa district in Bihar.   • Sahbhagi Vocational Training Centre

    This center's primary mission is to equip economically disadvantaged and marginalized youth with essential skills, enhancing their employability and income-generating potential. The centre is dedicated to fostering both economic and social empowerment among rural youth through comprehensive vocational training. In line with this goal, a diverse array of Vocational Training Programs has been meticulously crafted to provide not only vocational skills but also life skill education. SVTC places special emphasis on catering to the needs of adolescent girls, school dropouts, illiterate individuals, and women from minority and marginalized communities, tailoring special courses to address their unique requirements.

Impact

The Skill enhancement programme for teachers has trained 300 teachers in 2 districts. This will benefit over 10,000 students. The Functional Literacy programme has educated 4000 women in 14 Gram Panchayats and 110 Villages. The Disaster Risk Reduction programme has benefitted 25000 people in over 4000 households in 25 Villages. Till date, over 13,000 youth have been trained and over 5,000 have been placed.
