Leprosy
AIFO India collaborates closely with the National Leprosy Eradication Programme (NLEP) at various levels including the Centre, State, and District, in addition to partnering with other NGOs and organizations. The activities encompass:
• Participating in planning, joint monitoring, and evaluation exercises in collaboration with the Central Leprosy Division and WHO.
• Facilitating and organizing Regional State Leprosy Officers Review meetings in conjunction with partners from the International Federation of Anti-Leprosy Associations.
• Undertaking initiatives for the prevention, control, treatment, and rehabilitation of individuals affected by leprosy within integrated healthcare settings. -
Education
To foster integration and foster a sense of inclusivity, it has devised initiatives to raise awareness among communities about the challenges encountered by individuals affected by leprosy and disabilities. This involves establishing formal educational programs, collaborating with local government schools, and providing assistance to charities and specialized educational institutions.

Livelihood
Individuals affected by leprosy, those with disabilities, and women frequently face exclusion from the mainstream economy. To enhance the livelihoods of marginalized groups, the organisation employs a dual strategy: providing livelihood training and fostering the development of inclusive communities.
It advocates for innovative approaches to economic empowerment, aiming to establish sustainable models that are accessible and fairly distributed. Additionally, AIFO India strives to empower women leaders within leprosy-affected communities residing in tea gardens and rural areas, providing them with socio-economic opportunities, access to health services, and entitlements.
