Early Grade Reading Programme
The Children's Lovecastles Trust (CLT) has been honoured with the Millennium Alliance award for their Early Grade Reading (EGR) Initiative, aimed at enhancing perceptual learning for children in grades 1 to 4, specifically in the Kannada language. With 1.21 million students in Karnataka being out of school, and 45% of them in the early grades, the programme seeks to address the issue of dropouts in grades 4 to 8, which is often caused by difficulties in reading and comprehension. Supported by the second Millennium Alliance award from FICCI and USAID, CLT will utilize Ed-Tech innovation to create Early Grade Reading Resources in regional languages, empowering teachers and parents to guide their children to become proficient readers through the EGR Read-Ready Practitioners' Kit. This initiative aims to bridge the lack of reading resources in underserved communities and promote a culture of reading at home and in schools through engaging stories and activities.

e - pathashale Programme
The Children's Lovecastles Trust (CLT) developed e-Patashale, an innovative education technology initiative aimed at addressing teacher shortage and improving learning opportunities for children in rural areas. By creating a scalable model, master teachers design digital STEM pedagogy for local practitioners, using technology to deliver it to remote regions. The programme's architecture prioritizes accessibility for underserved communities, offering resources in regional languages, affordable and robust technology, easy teacher upskilling, and internet-free content access. With over 15,000 videos, 2,000 digital workbooks for teachers, 82,200+ upskilled teachers, and impacting 2.75 million students in 14,936 classrooms, e-Patashale has garnered support from state and district Governments, corporates, NGOs, and local communities, ensuring its sustainability.
