Spread across 2.5 acres, Kaliyuva Mane offers a tranquil and verdant setting with over 300 trees, providing an ideal sanctuary for children to enjoy a peaceful environment away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
In addition to education, the school actively implements eco-friendly initiatives such as rainwater harvesting, eco-toilet, bio-gas plant, solar-powered lighting, and more. Engaging in these activities, children imbibe an eco-conscious mindset from an early age. -
Volunteers' honourarium
District
Mysore
States
Karnataka
In Kaliyuva Mane many children are from unstable families. So, some children stay on the campus even during holidays, thus making Kaliyuva Mane practically a 24x365 school. Resident school needs residential staff members like cooks, child care givers (wardens), security staff, driver, resident teachers, skeleton admin staff etc. Hence 80% of Kaliyuva Mane staff stay on the campus. We are providing them food, accommodation and basic healthcare. They serve with the spirit of volunteers.
Human resource is critical for the success of any organization. Donors are encouraged to sponsor one staff member's honorarium. They can always interact with the particular volunteer they are sponsoring. -

The Pragathi program:
The 'Pragathi – Care & educate a Child' programme has been designed for donors seeking to directly support a child within the school. Through this sponsorship program, donors have the opportunity to ensure comprehensive care for a child, covering food, clothing, accommodation, healthcare, recreation and child-centric education. In essence, the donor's involvement parallels the act of adopting a child, with the organization guaranteeing the child's complete well-being.
Prior to making a sponsorship commitment, donors are encouraged to visit the school and engage with the child. The organisation believes that beyond the financial contribution, ongoing interaction between the donor and the child will significantly benefit the child's future.
Donors are encouraged to act as mentors, offering consistent guidance and support to the child. -
