Sea Turtle Conservation
StateHonavar is one of the sporadic nest grounds for The Olive Ridely Sea Turtles. They come to the beaches of Honavar annually between November to March. The most of these turtles choose the Tonka beach near Sharavathi River Estuary. Each adult female lays hundreds of eggs at a time.
The Olive Ridley’s face serious threats across their migratory route, habitat and nesting beaches, due to human activities. These turtles are considered endangered because of their few remaining nesting sites in the world.

Free Sapling Giveaway
StateThrough this initiative, we aim to empower individuals and communities to participate actively in reforestation efforts and contribute to the restoration of our precious ecosystems.
We prioritize the planting of native tree species, ensuring that the ecosystems are restored to their natural balance. Native trees are better adapted to the local climate, soil conditions, and support local wildlife.
Planting saplings is a holistic approach to addressing environmental challenges. It fosters community bonding, enhances local landscapes, and contributes to a sustainable future.
Milestones & Track Record
The foundation has established partnerships with the Government of Karnataka for conservation projects and released a documentary film called 'The Ocean Connection' to raise awareness.
