Programs

  • Ctrl Alt Learn Programme

This programme allows children to get familiar with computers using basic and easy-to-use software. The children are exposed to innovative sessions of using speech recognition, text typing etc. to improve computer literacy and provide a fun learning experience.

  • Kickstart Programme

The Kickstart programme is focused on providing semi-educated women from underprivileged rural communities to get a headstart on English literacy.

The women are taken through skill-building sessions in professional/social skills, teacher training and understanding of vital issues related to maternal health, safety, hygiene, sexual reproductive health, gender issues, etc. empowering them to contribute to the development of the community and take up teaching assignments.

These women are gainfully employed as teachers delivering English and Computer literacy programmes conducted by the Foundation.

  • Edventure Camp Programme

Is a summer camp conducted by the Foundation in the months of May and June that includes revision of English and new skills being imparted to the school children.

The programme also teams up with talented individuals and corporates to conduct special sessions on dance, drama, art, poetry etc. to benefit the children and engage them in extra-curricular activities.

  • Elevate Programme

Its Elevate programme is an annual intervention aimed at educating primary school children from Government schools in English. The standard adopted conforms to the Common European Framework of Reference, Cambridge model. Based on assessments the children are grouped into seekers, finders, discoverers, enquirers and explorers as per their levels of learning and retention.

An hour each day is dedicated to the delivery of this programme with assessments conducted at the start and end to gauge its effectiveness and apply any refinements or modifications necessary.
