Programs

  • STEAM Scholarship Programme

    The STEAM Scholarship is a one-year scholarship programme designed for athletes, providing them with full access to state-of-the-art technology at centres and a sport-specific high-performance physical training programme. The programme is focused on delivering the best global practices in sports science and data to grassroots Indian athletes between the ages of 12 and 25. The aim is to tailor the programme to meet the specific needs of athletes in this age group, empowering them to reach their full potential and excel in their respective sports.

  • Sport4Her Programme

    The Sport4Her program takes a holistic approach to supporting sportswomen in India. The programme focuses on aspects, including Athlete Mental Wellness, Athlete Psychological Safety, Athlete Self Awareness, Athlete Mental Resilience, and Mental Health Recognition and Referral. Workshops and training sessions conducted by experienced individuals from the Indian sporting ecosystem aim to promote the participation of female athletes, break gender stereotypes, enhance self-esteem, and foster personality development. In addition to regular sports-specific assessments, rehabilitation sessions, performance enhancement training, and nutritional consultations, the programme also addresses menstrual health and nutritional deficiencies. providing support and guidance on issues such as Polycystic Ovary Syndrome.

  • Olympic Values Education Programme

    State

    The International Olympic Committee's (IOC) Olympic Values Education Programme (OVEP) was successfully launched in Odisha, India. The programme aims to impact 32,000 children enrolled in 90 schools located in Bhubaneswar and Rourkela. As it progresses, the programme aims to reach approximately 7 million children in the state of Odisha. The objective is to instil Olympic values within the young population.

  • Mental Wellness Programme

    The Mental Wellness Programme by The Abhinav Bindra Foundation Trust recognizes that athletes are susceptible to anxiety and depression, emphasizing the need for a supportive environment to foster excellence. The programme sensitizes athletes, coaches, and the sporting ecosystem on mental health, its correlation with peak performance, and the integration of best practices in their daily lives. With a focus on athletes and coaches as individuals, the Athlete Mental Wellness (AMW) and Coach Mental Wellness (CMW) programmes operate in five sporting ecosystems, equipping participants with self-awareness, self-care tools, post-athletic plans, and mental resilience. These programmes also raise awareness of the sports ecosystem's responsibility towards athlete and coach mental wellness through Athlete Psychological Safety (APS) and Coach Psychological Safety (CPS) training.
