    The Foundation also offers e-programmes for interested students who are preparing for JEE and NEET entrance examinations. The programme consists of video lectures, practice problems with video solutions and regular tests. It is available free of cost to all students across India.

    The various sub-programmes offered under this umbrella are Dakshana e-Aarambh: For Class 09 & 10, Dakshana e-Umang: For JEE Class 11 & 12, Dakshana e-Dhyey: For JEE After Class 12, Dakshana e-Ummeed: For NEET Class 11 & 12 and Dakshana e-Dhyaan: For NEET After Class 12.

    Is offered to students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas. Students from poor backgrounds in grade 10 are selected on the basis of an entrance test that Dakshana conducts for the purpose.

    The test is conducted in more than eighty centres across India and includes questions on logical reasoning, mathematics or biology, physics and chemistry and follow the NCERT syllabus of class nine and ten.

    On successfully clearing the entrance exam the student is offered a Dakshana coaching opportunity, post which they can shift to its facilities at selected seven JNV campuses JNV Bengaluru Urban (Karnataka), JNV Bundi (Rajasthan), JNV Kottayam (Kerala), JNV Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), JNV Pune (Maharashtra), JNV Rangareddy (Telangana) & JNV Silvassa (Dadra & Nagar Haveli).

    The cost of coaching, study material and other academic related items is borne by Dakshana whereas cost of boarding and lodging is borne by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya for a period of two years until the candidate appears for JEE or NEET entrance examinations.

    This programme empowers meritorious but poor students of science background studying in grade twelve, from Government aided or Government schools in India, to fulfill their dreams of appearing and securing admission in Government medical colleges or the IITs.

    The students have to qualify an entrance examination conducted by Dakshana, students can apply to appear via the principal's email to the Foundation. Students can also apply through Dakshana's online portal. An applying candidate must have scored above seventy-five percent in mathematics and science in grade ten for state boards, while for CBSE, a CGPA of 9 is desired.

    The candidate spends a year at Its campus in Kadus village, Maharashtra, after clearance of the entrance exam and qualifying the income criteria. Dakshana bears the cost of accommodation, coaching and food for a period of one year till the candidate appears for JEE or NEET exam.

  • Scholarship Programme

    The Foundation provides scholarships to economically challenged undergraduate students and helps them by connecting them to funding agencies. The scholarships are provided for engineering/medical disciplines based on academic criteria besides the economic condition of the family. The candidates are supposed to apply after which the organisation connects to the funding agency for its final decision.
