It offers services and assistance to people based on need, irrespective of race, class, caste, religion and gender. I am associated with DOCTORS FOR YOU since July 2020, where UNICEF collaborated with
DFY for Strengthening Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE), COVID19
surveillance, contact tracing, IPC and ensuring continuity of essential RMNCA health and
nutrition services during COVID19 emergency in two wards of Mumbai. The partnership with
DFY proved extremely strategic for reaching out to the most marginalized and vulnerable
section of the urban slums the expertise and experience of DFY team in emergency work is
remarkable. Based on this experience UNICEF continued the partnership with DFY towards a
long term goal of Health Systems strengthening through comprehensive Urban Primary
Health Care approach in MCGM.

COVID-19 has been taking a toll on people all around the world since 2020, and the situation
in India was no different. Crypto relief opted to work with DFY to support emergency
healthcare responses during these critical times. Our collaboration with DFY has been pivotal
in providing healthcare services and reaching out to marginalised communities through
various Covid-19 focussed programmes.
Doctors for you and our organisation has been associated with each other since the
beginning of 2021 and have collaborated for various projects focussing on addressing the
rural health needs. The district pandemic response and rural outreach program for
addressing health needs of the people living in the rural and tribal areas has been key
highlights of our collaborative work this year. As part of the third wave of Covid-19 support,
Doctors For You (DFY) has created 5 Covid hospitals across India as part of the Crypto Relief
project. The hospitals have a combined capacity of 1000 beds, including 70 intensive care
units and 130 paediatric beds. The centres are being developed in partnership with the local
government and the state health departments across Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar,
Maharashtra and Karnataka. We have also worked together in distribution of ration kits and
setting up of a command centre for COVID-19 affected people.

Our relationship with Doctors For You during peak of the second wave of the Covid
pandemic resulted in an extremely meaningful and gratifying collaboration between a group
of corporate donars who donated ICU equipment to Government Hospitals in Bangalore. DFY
provided the much needed manpower and operational expertise required to set up and

Shapoorji Pallonji has been associated with DFY on a nutrition enhancement programme in
2016-19 and we were very impressed with the commitment of the field teams in ensuring the project is undertaken and monitored well. Their Health Assistants who are young girls from the community were specifically trained to educate, create awareness and monitor the

Since last year, COVID-19 has been continuously affecting lives across the globe and the
situation was not much different in India as well. It was during the first wave of COVID- 19
pandemic, Wipro foundation decided to partner with DFY to support the emergency
healthcare responses. Our partnership with DFY has been instrumental in providing critical
healthcare-by setting up isolation and treatment centers, providing ambulance support for
transportation of COVID patients, and reaching out to the marginalized communities
through effective COVID screening programmes, especially in hard-hit locations like Mumbai
and Delhi both during the first and second wave of COVID. DFY was proactive and committed
in this emergency and was well equipped in delivering timely healthcare services, which was
the need of the hour.
We appreciate the way DFY as an organization has adapted towards a system that not only
involves immediate handling of disaster response but their expertise and knowledge in the
domain that make them capable of foreseeing, planning, and preparing for the worst-case

Varun Sheth, Zaheer Adenwala and Actor Kunal Kapoor with an aim to bridge the
affordability gap. Here at Ketto, we enable people to raise funds for health and medical
emergencies, natural calamities, education, short-term emergency needs, animal welfare,
women empowerment, and many more.
Over the course of the pandemic, Ketto hosted around 12,500 campaigns and raised over Rs
300 cores for COVID relief fundraisers. Doctors For You (DFY) collaborated with us during this
time and successfully raised funds to assist the country during the COVID crises, especially
when the 2nd wave infested the nation and its resources. DFY assisted in the provision of
oxygen, medical equipment, and other necessities. They even teamed up with celebrities,
public figures, and others to make a bigger impact.
DFY's vision to provide affordable & quality medical relief, sustainable & robust healthcare
services, capacity building & risk reduction activities in crisis or otherwise; aligns with Ketto's
mission to connect people to healthcare and happiness. It was very convenient to be able to
work with a foundation that reflects and follows similar guidelines to Ketto and its future
plans, and it also gave us a boost to keep doing what we're doing.
When our country was hit by the second wave of COVID, health workers from Doctors For
You (DFY) put their lives on the line to help struggling hospitals and critical patients across
the country. Led by COVID War Time Consigliere - Saket Kumar SonuWa, numerous
fundraisers on Ketto contributed to DFY's COVID relief efforts across the country. The

Doctors For You (DFY) started as a platelet donation and awareness drive to manage the outbreak of Dengue, Leptospirosis and Malaria in Mumbai in 2007. Over the past 14 years, DFY has established itself as an organization with technical capacity to respond to different types of humanitarian crisis. The organization has been working in the field of general healthcare services, public health , emergency response and rehabilitation projects, training and capacity building programme and research studies

The organization has been recognized for its humanitarian work in India and outside. The combined effort of the doctors from different parts of world, paramedics, volunteers and our employees has brought many laurels to the organisation.
