The Trust uses its clinics and hospitals to offer philanthropic healthcare services to the underprivileged segments of society. In addition to providi Read moreng healthcare, the Trust strives for comprehensive community development. Accordingly, during the past 10 years, the Trust has worked to improve the accessibility and calibre of education in the area. The MLDT Education Programme started out in 2005 with two schools and has since expanded to include ten schools close to our Cottage Hospital. These pupils would not otherwise have access to the formal and non-formal development areas covered by the programme. The age range for which it is completed is 14 to 16, or classes 8 through 10. The goal is to improve the quality of education through a variety of activities.

    These pupils would not otherwise have access to the formal and non-formal development areas covered by the programme. The program's target audience is students in grades 8 through 10, specifically those between the ages of 14 and 16. Approximately eight to ten different kinds of exercises are carried out with the goal of improving the standard of instruction. Tata Trust is funding our mother and child care health campaign. Adolescent girls and recently married couples are the target audience for the cottage hospital awareness programmes, which then move on to prenatal care, safe institutional deliveries, and postnatal care. In addition, MLDT offers additional patients in the 25 villages in the Vikramgad Block of Palghar District Maharashtra OPD, IPD, and mobile van services.
