Equal Community Foundation (ECF) was formed to educate and change the mindset of boys around eighteen years of age to respect women and consider them Read moreequal leading to a equitable society and a safer place for women in general. This change intends to create a group of social changemakers who will in turn bring about a change at the peer, family, community levels. While men are considered being the source of the problem, it firmly believes that every man can be part of the solution. The mindset change is crucial and it engages men to be active participants to drive the solution.

Research, development, and evaluation
An endeavor to create new literature, develop practical and scalable model based on experiential learning of engaging adolescent boys to be gender equitable. Action for Equality
A community-led program designed for adolescent boys in the age group of 13 to 17. Boys of this age group are impressionable, but can be trained to understand situations and take responsible decisions. The objective is to systematically change the way communities raise boys through a series of structured interventions and systematic monitoring that continues for up to a year. This program helps to raise gender equitable boys by equipping them with knowledge, peer support, skills and leadership abilities. This program is facilitated by a team of dedicated mentors in 20 communities across Pune, India.

Project Raise
A program that partners with Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), funding organizations, intermediaries and government institutions who are committed to the social outcome of raising gender equitable boys. Participating agencies are provided knowledge and toolkits to deliver programs, evaluate progress and drive collective action towards the desired outcome of making boys gender equitable. Organizations that are working towards raising gender equitable boys can become members of Project Raise. They will have direct access to online and offline training/research material, and can have meaningful engagement with other member organizations. Members can also use the data from other organizations to influence policies.
Project Raise has 290 members and over 35 of these member organizations have adopted the approach to raise gender equitable boys. Over 13022 boys have participated in Project Raise. As a result, about 54% of the participants showed high equitable attitude towards women.
