Program goals and objectives:
1. Improvements in the treatment of children and adolescents with paediatric endocrine diseases, as well as early identification of growth and endocrine abnormalities in children
2. To provide paediatric postgraduates at outlying centres in India with the knowledge and expertise needed to identify and treat growth and paediatric endocrine problems.
3. To offer an alternative to super speciality training programs that are comparable overseas and frequently beyond of the price range of an Indian post-graduate student specialising in paediatrics.
4. To offer a competitive substitute for the considerably lengthier DNB of DM courses in endocrinology, which are exclusively offered as an adult medicine super speciality. The goal of the course is to concisely emphasise a similar curriculum within the allotted year.
