Nirman Bahuudheshiya Sanstha is working to improve access to safe drinking water in rural areas through the Jal Jeevan Mission Programme. It supports states and union territories in planning water supply strategies, ensuring long-term security for households and public institutions like schools, health centres, and community buildings. The programme focuses on setting up water infrastructure to provide functional tap connections (FHTC) to every rural home by 2024. It prioritises regions affected by water quality issues, drought, and low development, ensuring reliable and affordable services. By promoting sustainable water management, it aims to enhance living standards and create healthier communities.

Nirman Bahuudheshiya Sanstha is implementing the IndusInd Bank Project to promote sustainable mushroom cultivation and self-employment opportunities. It provides practical training on growing mushrooms naturally while ensuring efficient use of resources. The program equips participants with knowledge of different cropping patterns, pest and disease management, and techniques for maintaining healthy mushroom production. Through hands-on experience, it aims to build skills that support economic independence and environmentally responsible farming.
