The organisation, with a focus on identity empowerment, addresses the challenge faced by homeless citizens in obtaining essential documents such as ration cards and voter IDs. It aims to provide documented, state-acknowledged identities, crucial for accessing Government schemes. Community leaders are trained to navigate formalities, and outreach programmes verify the legality of residence. Beyond documentation, the organisation conducts sensitization programmes to combat social discrimination, engaging students, corporate ventures, Government employees, and the public in workshops, discussions, and visual media initiatives. Over 2000 homeless citizens have benefited from obtaining at least one basic identification document since the movement's inception.

In times of emergency, the organisation responds to the pressing needs of homeless individuals facing threats of eviction, police harassment, and medical emergencies. Recognizing the challenges in accessing medical services due to a lack of information and biases, the team assists in hospital admissions and rehabilitation shelter placements when necessary. Evictions, often accompanied by violence, are a daily reality for the homeless, with property confiscation by authorities. The organisation supports individuals in such situations, engaging with authorities and providing basic legal advice. Addressing police harassment, particularly under vague laws like the Bombay (Prevention of) Beggary Act, 1959, the organisation advocates for the rights of homeless citizens, aiming to counteract societal insensitivity towards this vulnerable population.
