Prayas Youth Foundation adopts the agroforestry method, integrating tree cultivation with crops or pastureland. Additionally, in collaboration with COSMO Foundation and Green Yatra, it addresses the concerns of global deforestation caused by farming and its contribution to greenhouse gas emissions. Agroforestry emerges as a solution, addressing challenges related to food, nutrition, energy, employment, and environmental security, while utilizing available land resources effectively.
