The Prayas Youth Foundation employs the innovative Miyawaki Method to establish dense, native forests for ecological enrichment. This approach, pioneered by Dr Akira Miyawaki, involves planting numerous native species closely together, resulting in rapid growth and increased biodiversity. Notable projects include the creation of Maharashtra's largest urban forest, the Project Oxygen Hub, spanning over 5 acres and funded through CSR initiatives. Collaborating with various entities, the foundation has established forests in locations like Sant Srishti, AMC Garbage Processing Plant, Canpack Can Division, GCL Chikalthana MIDC, Modi Farm, Siemens Ltd - Shendar MIDC, Dr Kalam Smriti Vann, and Jabalpur. These initiatives focus on improving air quality, addressing waste processing odours, combating water scarcity, and paying tribute to national figures like Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam through dedicated forest plantations.
