Since 1995, Manav Sadhna (MS) has been tirelessly serving disadvantaged communities in Ahmedabad. Its focus areas include Comprehensive Education, Nut Read morerition, Healthcare, Community Development, Livelihood Support, Compassionate Initiatives, and Disaster Response. With a foundation rooted in the principle of recognizing the divine in every person ('manav'), their work becomes a form of devotion ('sadhna'). Initially established at Gandhi Ashram, the organisation began by educating and nurturing children, promoting hygiene, and providing care and sustenance. Over thirty years, it has evolved to extend its services to bolster families and communities, establishing a network of Community Centers in Ahmedabad's underserved regions. Guided by values of love, humility, empathy, and dignity, these centres tackle issues such as healthcare, illiteracy, substance abuse, and joblessness, to break the cycle of poverty and empower individuals and communities. Key components of their initiatives include inclusive prayers for inner peace, prioritization of basic nutrition, advocacy for health and hygiene, and opportunities for personal development through imparting values and life skills.

Education Programmes
Manav Sadhna (MS) emphasizes holistic, values-based education to unlock each child's potential and foster their well-rounded development. The daily supplementary education programs, such as Bal Sanskar and Vidhyadham, aim to break the poverty cycle by providing quality learning opportunities. The Flowering Tree Open School, initiated in 2018, extends premium-quality education to KG-5th standards. The holistic approach includes prayer, daily nutrition through Annapurna, remedial support with Prathma, value education with Jugnoo, and innovative learning initiatives like Shrujan, Khoj, Sanskrit, and Samanvay. Teacher development and the Wings Scholarship Programme enhance education, while Earn N Learn empowers vulnerable children by combining learning with craft-based earning opportunities.

Health and Awareness Programme
The MS health programme prioritizes preventive measures through awareness initiatives and offers a range of medical treatments, benefiting over 39,300 low-income families annually. Initiatives include the Arogya Kendra Community Clinic, providing affordable healthcare; Muskaan Dental Clinic, offering free dental services; life-saving treatment and surgery support; health camps focusing on various health issues; awareness campaigns addressing common health problems; and efforts to combat malnourishment in children through partnerships with organisations like Health and Care Foundation. These initiatives collectively contribute to community well-being and improved health outcomes.
