The Shrimad Rajachandra Educational Trust (SRMD) is a non-profit organisation that is dedicated to spreading the teachings of Shrimad Rajchandra, a 19 Read moreth-century Jain saint and philosopher. The trust's activities are wide-ranging and impactful, and they are all guided by the principles of non-violence, truthfulness, and compassion. The SRMD runs schools and colleges that offer a holistic education based on the principles of Jainism. These schools and colleges provide primary and secondary education, teacher training, and vocational training. The Trust also offers social services such as healthcare, disaster relief, and education for underprivileged children. In addition to its educational and social service programmes, the SRMD also conducts Satsangs (spiritual discourses) and workshops on topics such as meditation, yoga, and self-improvement. It also publishes books and articles on Shrimad Rajchandra's teachings, as well as a monthly magazine called "Prabhat".
