The healthcare training of CHE’s also came into appropriate use during the second wave of the pandemic when these empowered women provided emergency consultations and best practices besides distributing essentials like rations and medicines to needy people.

Basic Care Provider Programme
StateThe Foundation develops women to be first-level healthcare providers to remote populations in hard-to-reach areas. It trains them in partnership with the Stanford Emergency Medical Services Department and enables them to be first responders. They are trained to gauge the seriousness of a person's health conditions and accordingly be able to direct them to appropriate health facilities.
The women are also supported with a decision support application that connects them directly to HFF field doctors online and helps them with a proper diagnosis.
