  • Community Health Entrepreneur Programme

HFF selects women from underprivileged local communities to be developed into change leaders and agents. These women are provided with skills to act as the first line of defence which includes first-aid, illness prevention and appropriate health information to act as a first responder.

They take on the role of health educator, enabling health access and financing for the poor masses by dispensing information on nutrition and sanitation.

To help the women earn while they go about their noble work they are equipped with entrepreneurial knowledge and also act as providers of health and sanitary products. This leads to income for them as well as improved confidence and business acumen.

  • School Health Champions Programme

This programme seeks to train and empower adolescent students from Government and reasonable private schools. These students are trained in the areas of adolescent health, hygiene, nutrition, and menstrual hygiene while attempting to instil healthy changes in adolescents.

  • Basic Care Provider Programme

The Foundation develops women to be first-level healthcare providers to remote populations in hard-to-reach areas. It trains them in partnership with the Stanford Emergency Medical Services Department and enables them to be first responders. They are trained to gauge the seriousness of a person's health conditions and accordingly be able to direct them to appropriate health facilities.

The women are also supported with a decision support application that connects them directly to HFF field doctors online and helps them with a proper diagnosis.
