Gramodaya focuses on improving nutrition levels and education quality for underprivileged children, pregnant, and lactating mothers in India. Through Read morevarious initiatives such as providing nutrition kits, education, special classes, and health camps, it aims to address malnutrition and educational gaps. Additionally, it plans to expand its reach to include more children, especially those from marginalized communities like children of female sex workers and those affected by HIV, with the goal of increasing the number of normal-weight children and reducing stress among HIV-affected children. The organisation envisions a society free from exploitation and aims to achieve this by facilitating development that reaches every individual. With a mission to support women empowerment through income-generating projects, Gramodaya has formed numerous groups and provided substantial financial support since its inception. Operating primarily in Tiruchirappalli, Pudukkottai, and Karur districts of Tamil Nadu, it has collaborated with various government and non-governmental entities to implement programs focusing on women's development, health, nutrition, and HIV/AIDS intervention. Despite limited resources, Gramodaya has maintained a steady turnover over the years, demonstrating its commitment to making a meaningful impact on the lives of its beneficiaries.

Gramodaya's vision is to build a society free from exploitation that is just, by facilitating development reaching the last person. Its mission is to keep human values and principles propounded by Mahatma Gandhi at the forefront while empowering beneficiaries through working groups and skill development.

Gramodaya has achieved an average annual turnover of Rs. 16.7 lakhs for the last 10 years, with an average cost of Rs. 500 incurred per beneficiary.
