The skill development and livelihood programme are in line with the Government of India’s Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana. In order to pursue its objective, the foundation has tied up with different training organisations to sponsor courses with large employment potential with an aim to empower youth and women.

The initiative Shriram School of Vocational Education (SSVE) addressed gaps in terms of affordability and class timings without compromising the quality of education. It also addressed the needs of the community by focusing on practical job-oriented courses.
It provides infrastructure, advanced laboratories, internet centres, a modern library and sports facilities for all-round growth of its students. Additionally, the foundation provides financial support to the children of small transporters and truck drivers with its Educational Scholarship Program.

The Foundation observed that most Government schools provide education up to the sixth grade only and started charging fees from the next grade. This led to drop-outs after the primary education stage.
To address this issue the Foundation started awarding scholarships to poor students from the families of drivers or small transporters. The criteria It follows in that marks obtained must be above 60%, monthly income is less than Rupees 25,000 and one of the parents has to be a driver or a small transporter.

The education programme of the Foundation focuses on running and supporting schools and educational establishments in the rural areas of the nation.
The three focus areas under this initiative include child development, teacher development and school and community relations development. The aim of the project is to address issues pertaining to the quality of education by adopting the rights-based approach.
A 'rights-based approach' is where the individual, as an integral unit of the community, becomes important, and hence his or her rights for the well-being of the individual are paramount.
