    In our efforts to improve the living conditions of poor families and ensure continuous education to children, women and adolescent girls are trained in employable skills. After the training periods, NCT finds jobs and places them.

    NCT trains women and adolescent girls in skills such as tailoring, hand-embroidery/ maggam, smartphone repairs, DTP and accounting.

    NCT trains school dropouts and unskilled youth in electrical wiring/house electrician skills, two/four-wheeler mechanisms, driving, and painting.

    NCT trains educated but unemployed youth in computer skills, DTP, Photoshop, accounting and smartphone repairs.

Impact

We would like to share brief impacts stories for the year 2022-2023  N.209 school dropouts from two centres were provided age-appropriate education and were mainstreamed with public primary schools  N.132 children are supported with small educational sponsorship support  N.418 women were trained in employable skill training (Tailoring)  N.39632 women participated in educative awareness on gender rights and gender equality  N.6072 Men participated in Educative Awareness on Gender Sensitivity and gender rights practice in families.  N. 18011 women participated in constitutionally granted gender rights/legal system awareness.  N.9088 adolescent girls participated in menstrual hygiene and personal care awareness building.  N.13674 high school students participated in educative awareness seminars on child marriages and school dropouts  NewBeginnings conducted N.611 awareness seminars on child marriages, child labour and human trafficking in N.120 rural villages and N.119 government public high schools.  NCT has formed N.450 SHGs so far, benefiting N.4500 women  N. 105 rural medical camps were organised targeting 35 villages.
